Transitioning to hospice

After much thought and prayer, Shawna has made the decision to go to hospice.  The home care team is aware that she will take the next available bed at Rosedale Hospice.  This won't happen today, but could be as soon as tomorrow or Monday.

She just phoned me and has requested prayer for this transition - for herself, Alexis and Will.  She also requests prayer to feel peace now with this decision.  She is doing okay today, with symptoms under control.

Will post again after the move to let everyone know how she is doing.

Terri

  6. When i close my eyes to pray, i see the three of you sitting in the second row, right side, of First Baptist....dear Lord, you see that family up there, they have endured so many struggles and through it all, they have stood steadfast in their faith and at your service. Please dearest Lord, give them now, your peace and constant love and assurance. Please hold Shawna safely in your arms and give her rest. Put your hand dear Lord on Will and Alexis as well, they need you now more than ever. In Jesus' precious name, amen.
Shawna, you will always remain such a wonderful part of my life. Those moments singing with you are some of my fondest most treasured memories...and when I was the most happy in my life....i'm so thankful you have been a part of it...much love, Sue

    1. Shawna as I have said many many times, you are and will always remain to be one of the strongest and most positive inspirations in my life.

I have learnt so many life altering things from you; we will cherish the times we’ve spent with you and will honor your memory for the truly inspirational woman you are and have been.

There will be hard days ahead and it is my hopes to always remain as positive and upbeat as yourself and it is our promise to you to never take for granted the little things in life, family, friends and faith.

Until we meet again please know that you are all in our every thoughts and prayers.

Love your Nephews Shawn & Mason, Niece Shyla, Sister-in-Law Lonnie, and Brother-in-Law Don.
